For several years the sabre fencer fleching on the striped background remain constant, even after the action itself was banned in sabre.<\/p>\n<p>In the April 2000 issue of American Fencing the final eight designs of a logo contest were presented for membership to vote on. The winning logo was a variation of the current logo with the weapon altered and USA more prominent.<\/p>\n<p>The USFA changed the logo to a circular design in 2010 which was met with sharp disapproval from the membership. Another alteration of the fleching fencer was used until it was altered to it&#8217;s current design.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-1 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin:
